Telefilm Canada today announced that it has approved investments in six feature film projects, including two Canadian-minority coproductions, submitted during the final round of applications for fiscal 2007-08. The Corporation received 25 submissions for this round, and a total of $5.8 million was available for funding.

“Our choices have gone to a diverse array of films that spans genre, suspense, romantic comedy, comedy and drama,” said Michel Pradier, Director, French Operations and Quebec Office. “I am especially pleased to see new talent in the lineup with first films,” he added.
