On Thursday, September 20th, 2007 the Directors Guild of Canada appeared before the CRTC at the Diversity of Voices hearing. 

Alan Goluboff, President, and Tim Southam, DGC Director Member, appeared on behalf of the DGC and advocated for strong regulatory requirements to be imposed on broadcasters to ensure that a broad range of Canadian voices be heard on television.
