More Canadians watched CTV's home-grown comedy series Corner Gas last night than a simulcast of Heroes, data from BBM Nielsen Research confirms today. Brent Butt and the gang attracted 1.298 million viewers on CTV versus 1.293 million for Heroes on NBC/Global. Heroes also failed to deliver in the A25-54 and A18-49 demos, with CSI: Miami taking the No. 1 slot Monday in all key demos. By the end of the night, CTV claimed one million plus viewers in each hour from 7-11 p.m:
At 10 p.m., CTV's CSI: Miami was the most-watched program of the night with 2.23 million viewers, more than triple the number of viewers for Journeyman (NBC/Global; 602,000). CSI: Miami won the night in all major demos, besting Heroes by 40% among A25-54 and 8% among A18-49. The Top 5 programs on Canadian television last night:
